How InnoBee Queen AI Assists Judging

InnoBee Queen is built to make judging faster and more consistent, not to make judging decisions on its own. When a challenge closes for submissions, Queen can run a first pass over entries to check completeness against the challenge's stated criteria, flag submissions that look like duplicates or off-topic entries, and surface statistical outliers in scoring — for example, a judge whose scores are consistently far from the panel's average, which is worth a second look either way.

None of this changes who decides the outcome. Every score that counts toward a result is entered by a human judge, using the rubric or TOPSIS weighting the challenge creator configured. Queen's role is closer to a very fast, very consistent research assistant: it reads faster than any one judge could, but it doesn't hold an opinion about which submission should win.

We've deliberately kept this boundary explicit in the product, not just in our documentation — judges always see which flags came from Queen versus another judge, and Queen-generated notes are labelled as such throughout the judging interface.
