IP Policy

1. Overview

This Intellectual Property Policy explains who owns what on InnoBee: our platform and brand, and the challenges, submissions, and other content our users create. For copyright infringement claims specifically (takedown notices), see our separate Copyright Policy at innobee.buzz/policies/copyright.

2. InnoBee's Intellectual Property

The InnoBee name, logo, Hive/BeeShop/Queen branding, the Platform's software, design, and all associated intellectual property are owned by InnoBee's founder, Mohammad Reza Razghandi (linkedin.com/in/mohammad-razghandi) — see our Terms of Service, Section 16, for the full ownership statement. These Terms do not grant you any right to use InnoBee's trademarks, branding, or platform source code except as necessary to use the Platform as intended.

Feedback you voluntarily provide about the Platform (feature suggestions, bug reports) may be used by us without obligation to you, though this does not affect ownership of your actual challenge or submission content described below.

3. Ownership of Your Content

You retain ownership of the challenges you create, the submissions you make, and other original content you upload to the Platform ("Your Content"). InnoBee does not claim ownership of Your Content.

By posting Your Content, you grant InnoBee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it as necessary to operate the Platform — for example, showing your submission to a challenge's judges, displaying your published Pitch Deck publicly, or showing your profile to other users per your privacy settings.

This license ends when you delete the specific content or your account, except: (a) to the extent it was already shared with other users as part of normal Platform operation (for example, a judge who already viewed your submission), and (b) for backup copies retained per our data retention practices in the Privacy Policy.

4. Challenge-Specific IP Terms

Some challenges require a broader license or an assignment of rights in the winning submission as a condition of eligibility (for example, a corporate innovation challenge that acquires rights to the winning solution as part of the prize arrangement). Any such requirement must be disclosed clearly in the challenge's published rules before submissions open, and by submitting to that challenge you agree to those specific terms in addition to this Policy.

If a challenge's rules are silent on IP beyond the standard license in Section 3, only the standard license applies — winning a challenge does not by itself transfer ownership of your submission to the creator or InnoBee.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated with InnoBee Queen's assistance is subject to the same ownership principles as Your Content in Section 3, to the extent you have rights to grant under applicable law — the legal status of AI-assisted or AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction and is evolving. Where a specific challenge requires disclosure of AI assistance, see our Intellectual Integrity Policy for what must be disclosed.

6. Respecting Others' Intellectual Property

You may not submit, upload, or publish content that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated — see our Copyright Policy for our notice-and-takedown process.

7. Trademark Use by Users

If your organization runs challenges on InnoBee, you may reference your own trademarks in your challenge content as needed to describe your challenge. Do not use InnoBee's trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation beyond your actual use of the Platform without our written permission.
