Community Guidelines

This document reflects InnoBee's current features and practices as of the date above. We update it regularly as the platform changes.
1. Why These Guidelines Exist
InnoBee is peer-to-peer by design — the same person can create a challenge, join another as a participant, and judge a third. That only works if everyone treats each other well regardless of which role they're in on a given challenge. These Guidelines set the baseline for every interaction on the Platform, and work alongside our Terms of Service, Anti-Discrimination Policy, and Intellectual Integrity Policy.
2. Core Principles
- Be honest — about your submissions, your credentials, your judging conflicts of interest, and your intentions as a sponsor or mentor
- Be respectful — disagree with an idea without attacking the person behind it
- Be fair — evaluate and interact with others based on the merits of their work, not their identity or background
- Be constructive — feedback (in judging comments, mentorship, or general discussion) should help the recipient improve, not just criticize
3. How Each Role Is Expected to Interact
Because roles on InnoBee are per-challenge rather than fixed per account, these expectations travel with the role you're currently playing, not your account as a whole:
3.1 As a challenge creator
- Set clear, achievable, and fairly disclosed rules, criteria, and prize terms — and honor them once published
3.2 As a participant
- Submit honest, original work per our Intellectual Integrity Policy, and accept judging outcomes gracefully — dispute a specific concern through official channels, not through harassment of a judge
3.3 As a judge
- Evaluate only against the challenge's published criteria, disclose conflicts of interest, and give feedback the participant could actually act on
3.4 As a sponsor, investor, or mentor
- Engage in good faith — expressing interest, offering guidance, or contributing sponsorship you don't intend to follow through on undermines the trust the whole system depends on
4. Prohibited Behavior
In addition to the specific prohibitions in our Terms of Service and Anti-Discrimination Policy, the following is not allowed anywhere on InnoBee:
- Harassment, threats, or targeted negative campaigns against another user
- Impersonating another person or organization
- Spam, scams, or solicitation unrelated to the Platform's actual purpose
- Sharing another user's private information without consent ("doxxing")
- Coordinated manipulation of judging, sponsorship, or Hive Score (see our Terms of Service, Section 10)
- Any activity that would violate our Intellectual Integrity Policy
5. Reporting a Problem
If you experience or witness behavior that violates these Guidelines, use the "Report" action available on the relevant profile, challenge, submission, or message, or email conduct@innobee.buzz directly for anything sensitive or urgent. Include as much specific detail (links, screenshots, dates) as you can.
Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days and will let you know the outcome where appropriate, consistent with the privacy of everyone involved.
We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith, even if the report is ultimately not substantiated.
6. Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, violations may result in a warning, content removal, loss of judging or creator privileges, temporary suspension, or permanent termination, per our Terms of Service. Severe violations (threats of violence, illegal activity) may be reported to law enforcement.
