1. Why This Policy Exists

Challenge outcomes, Hive Score, and certifications only mean something if they reflect genuine work. This Policy sets out what counts as a violation of intellectual integrity on InnoBee — in challenge submissions, and in exams and certifications through the Learning System — and what happens when it occurs.

2. Originality Requirement

Unless a specific challenge's rules explicitly state otherwise, your submission must be your own original work, or work you have obtained a license to use and clearly attribute. Submitting another person's work, in whole or substantial part, as your own is plagiarism and a violation of this Policy regardless of whether that work is publicly available.

3. AI-Assistance Disclosure

Using InnoBee Queen or other AI tools to help draft, refine, or brainstorm a submission is permitted by default. Whether AI assistance must be disclosed depends on the specific challenge:

• If a challenge's rules explicitly prohibit AI assistance (common for skills-assessment or certification-track challenges), you must not use AI tools to generate your submission content
• If a challenge's rules require disclosure of AI assistance, you must accurately describe which parts of your submission used AI tools and how
• If a challenge's rules are silent, AI-assisted work is permitted without special disclosure, but you remain responsible for the accuracy and originality of what you submit — "the AI wrote it" is not a defense against a plagiarism or factual-accuracy finding

4. Exams and Certifications

For timed exams and certification assessments (part of the Learning System), independent, unassisted work is required unless the specific assessment explicitly states otherwise. Using unauthorized assistance — including another person, unauthorized reference material, or AI tools — during a proctored or timed assessment is a serious violation that can result in exam invalidation and certification revocation.

5. How We Investigate

We may investigate a suspected violation using plagiarism-detection tools, submission-history comparison, judge and participant reports, and — where relevant — InnoBee Queen's own logs of assistance provided to an account, subject to our Privacy Policy. You will generally be given an opportunity to respond before a final finding, except in clear-cut or repeat cases.

6. Consequences

Depending on severity and history, violations may result in: submission disqualification, forfeiture of any prize already awarded for that submission, Hive Score penalty, certification revocation, judging privilege removal, or account suspension/termination.

7. Reporting a Suspected Violation

Report suspected plagiarism, undisclosed AI use in violation of a challenge's rules, or exam misconduct to integrity@innobee.buzz, or via the "Report" action on the relevant submission.
